South Africa Coal Specifications
Coal consistency is essential for an efficiently run manufacturing plant. If your coal supply does not meet the grade required by your plant design, it affects manufacturing capabilities. We supply RB-rated coal exported from South Africa in line with global COAL's Standard Coal Trading Agreement (SCoTA).

Our Incoterms
United Brokerage South Africa supplies locally and exports worldwide. Our coal is delivered based on the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) standard trade definitions FOB, FOT or CFR.
Free On Board – FOB
This defines the point in the supply chain where ownership transfers from the seller to the buyer.
According to the ICC, FOB requires the seller to load goods on board a cargo ship of the buyer's choice. The seller must clear the goods for export. The cost and risk then become the buyer's responsibility while they are on board.
Cost and Freight – CFR
This term requires the seller to arrange sea cargo carriage of the goods in foreign trade contracts. CFR only applies to goods transported by water. The seller must give the buyer the necessary documents to collect the goods at the destination port.
A trading contract containing CFR terms means the buyer is responsible for insuring the load.
